For admission in Fall semester, its application is closed in June of every year. For admission in Spring semester, its application is closed in November of every year. For exact application closing date or other application details, please visit HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School.
Complete applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Early application is recommended. Non-local applicants are also strongly advised to submit application not later than one month before the application closing date, in order to allow sufficient time for visa application.
Full-time program is suitable for people from all over the world. Part-time program is particularly suitable for working professionals who have to handle full-time job during the program of study from Hong Kong. People from places outside Hong Kong are required to apply for student visa.
Applicants should submit their applications via the Online Admission System. Online application fee is HK$350. Please complete an online application form, pay the application fee, and upload the below documents to the online application system:

- Degree Certificate(s), if any
For applicants graduated from University in Mainland China, please upload both degree and graduated certificate. - English proficiency proof / certificate (if applicable)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) and personal statement
GRE and GMAT scores are not required. Fresh graduates may provide information on work experience and professional qualification if they are available. Applicants may also upload other information not listed above but helpful to the admission committee to make the best decision.
In the application stage, official copies of the application materials are NOT required to be mailed to the program office/university (except for English proficiency proof/certificate which is going to expire very soon before July 1 (for the Fall intake applying for) and Jan 1 (for the Spring intake applying for)). Applicants will be informed how to send the official document when they are offered admission into the program.
